Scraper Rope

The purpose of a scraper rope in mining is to pull a scraper or scoop to move broken rock and ore from the mining face to an ore pass or tipping point. These ropes are part of a scraper winch system that is crucial for clearing material in underground operations, especially in narrow-vein mining methods.
